Jetting off on holiday? Worcestershire has three international airports within an hour's drive for that.
A shopping trip to London? Hop in the car, head down the motorway and you'll be there in just over two hours.
How about a night out? Well Birmingham is just a short 45 minute train journey away and both Bristol and Cardiff are also in easy reach of the county.
When it comes to being well connected few counties can compare with World Class Worcestershire. Located close to the middle of the country with a network of motorway links, Worcestershire is really well placed.
A lot of work is also being done to make the county's rail network even better. Work will start soon on the new Worcestershire Parkway Station. When it opens journey times to London will be shorter and there will be improved links to the rest of the country.
When asked 9 out of 10 people in the county said that they supported the plans for Worcestershire Parkway. Cutting down journey times and keeping the road network clear for traffic were top of people's wish list.
In Bromsgrove there is now a brand new train station for the town.
The £24m station was officially opened recently by Bromsgrove MP Sajid Javid, Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government. The benefits include increased capacity (800,000 commuters a year) and the promise of a more pleasant experience.
People who use the station have already been impressed. One man said it was one of the best he'd ever seen and one woman said the wait was worth it!
